Thank you for your interest in Page to Stage London. We respond to everyone who applies.

The event: Four pieces are showcased as directed, rehearsed readings. Our panel is drawn from directors, literary associates, playwrights, dramaturgs etc. They do not see scripts in advance - they give their immediate responses on the night, offering constructive advice to the writers. We also invite the audience to comment; the night is all about engaging with the writing.

Your script:

• should be suitable for performance as a rehearsed reading, with minimal tech

• should run for no more than 10 mins

• can have up to 5 roles (no monologues)

• is welcome to reflect all genders, ethnicities and ages.

NB: If your script is chosen, we'll check you can attend the event in person. And we'll ask you for £10. For this small fee you get director + actors + venue + audience, plus individual feedback from the industry panel.
